To Register to vote you must be -
> a U.S. citizen
> at least 18 years of age by election day
> a resident of Michigan and the city or township where you are applying to register to vote.
Where -
You can register to vote for federal, state, and local elections by mail, at your county, city or township clerk's office, or by visiting any Secretary of State branch office.
Eastpointe Residents
New residents may register to vote at the City Offices or at any Secretary of State Branch Office (SOS). Registration forms may also be obtained from the Macomb County Clerk via fax, 24 hours per day, by calling toll free 1-888-99-CLERK. Request document 6590.
The Qualified Voter File (QVF), placed into use in 1998, is a database which ties Michigan's 1,515 cities and townships to a statewide voter registration file maintained in Lansing.
Every motor/voter registration transaction executed in a SOS branch is electronically forwarded to the appropriate local election official
All drivers are required to use their registration address for driver license purposes. All voter registration address changes are automatically posted to the driver license file
Voters who change their driver license address to reflect a move to a new city or township in Michigan are immediately extended the opportunity to register in their new jurisdiction of residence.
No action is required on the voter's part if a change in their driver license address reflects a move within the same city or township in Michigan. The voter's registration is automatically updated.

Fraser Residents
Fraser residents can register to vote at the City Clerk’s office at 33000 Garfield Road. Offices are open Mon-Fri from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Roseville Residents
You can register to vote at the City Clerk’s office, or at any branch office of the Secretary of State. you can download and print a mail-in form from the link on this website. You must be registered to vote at least 30 days prior to an election. If you move to an address outside of Roseville, you must register in the new city or township 30 days prior to an election in order to vote in the new city or township. If you move to an address within Roseville, and you are already registered to vote, you must file a change of address with the City Clerk or the Secretary of State. Please remember to sign the registration form that you are given, even if you believe you are already registered to vote.

When -
Your must register to vote at least 30 days before the election. This gives the clerk time to process the forms and send you a Voter Identification Card.
