Dear Residents of District 42,

I am running for the position of State Representative of District 42 because I firmly believe I have the necessary leadership, dedication and commitment we need in Lansing to build a bipartisan team to deal with the economic challenges facing our district and our great state.

With my unique background of government and corporate experience, I can provide outstanding leadership and will continue to build cohesive teams with business, labor, and government stakeholders to strengthen District 42 for its residents. I can assure you that no one will work harder for this district.

My top priorities are:

• jobs,
• balancing the budget,
• supporting education, and
• affordable healthcare.

For more than 22 years, it has been my honor and privilege to serve as an elected official. During that time, I have worked in partnership with the mayors and other stakeholders of the surrounding cities to bring the best to the city of Roseville and its neighboring communities. I get the job done. And, I intend to do the same for District 42.

Your support will help me meet the needs of the residents of District 42. I am counting on you, just as you are counting on me, as we move into the November 2008 elections. I hope you will offer your vote on Tuesday, August 5 for my leadership as State Representative.
